TRICK OR TREAT!

Coming towards the end of October, we celebrate Halloween. I've seen lots of pumpkin carvings, scary costumes and amazing face paint which look surreal. The looks people can create with make up is mind blowing. I've also seen more shops incorporate the theme into their clothing such as Topshop and Missguided with a few props also in sight! It's a great time to get together dress up for parties and children going trick or treat.

Hope everyone has an amazing Halloween!!

WINTER BOOTS

I've seen myself becoming more drawn to boots these few years, I find them really easy to style and paired with simple outfits. This is one type of footwear I would happily wear all year round apart from the summer we've just had. From wearing knee length boots to ones which stop above the ankle, black is the only colour I really go for apart from my UGG boots. My loved chelsea boots from Tesco have literally been with me for more than 2 years and my go to footwear with leggings or tights. With a few other boots in my collection these are surprisingly the ones I wear the most and probably the cheapest. Boots are just too comfortable and I've been looking for a new pair - would it be odd buying another cut out pair this season - with so many designs online and in store you can never have too many boots!

LOVING COBALT BLUE!

Taking me back to summer and spotting a cobalt blue skater skirt in H&M, which I never ended up purchasing because it was either not in my size or in stock. Fast forward to A/W and I just thought about the skirt again... was this by chance, searching on Google 'cobalt blue skirts' and results linking me to websites. Which brings me to one of the trends 'Motel rocks'  recognizes for A/W.
I've looked around on Motelrocks and Missguided to give you 6 of my favourite pieces however there is a whole collection of this colour with different cuts on their website so check it out for more items.

GLAMOROUS.COM

You may have come across this label in some selected stores but for their full range you can buy online at Glamorous.com. I'm exploring all kinds of online stores at the moment and this one is another one I would recommend checking out! Fast forward fashion at a click of a button bringing you the latest trends. Did I also mention they are offering student discount - currently 20%. I love this time of the year where they double up on the student discount and my love my winter clothing..If only I had all the money...
So let's carry on and see what all the fuss is about at Glamorous.
Here are 4 trends that are slowly making it's way to people's wardrobes.

1. Velvet Vamp

Velvet brings me winter, it's not just about the blacks but I've seen stores bringing out the the forest greens and burgundy garments which are perfect for a evening out. The texture equally provides something different to your wardrobe and this may not be to everyone's taste but this season you will be seeing a lot of people rocking this look. My trusty velvet blazer from Zara is something I always wear when going out - it's lasted me over 4 years so something must be right, no matter what trend.

2. So Into PU

I definitely have a love for leather, whether PU or real as long as it doesn't look plastic I don't mind where it's from. Having seen a lot of skirts last year, it has now been incorporated in dresses and bottoms. It's great as a statement piece and can be thrown over a simple outfit to project a effortlessly cool outfit. In particular I'm loving the snakeskin effect on these items.

3. Rose Tones

Not much of a lover for pink but I can see myself wearing some of the pieces that Glamorous are bring out. With so many tones of pink, there is something to match everyone's taste whether it's the dusty pink to a fuchsia rose colour.

4. Check Mate

Think tartan patterns and all sorts of colours printed on clothing. This pattern is carefully worn as wearing too much could be a disaster. Breaking up the top from the bottom with a plain piece or a one piece tarten dress is enough to meet the trend.
